Linking social media profiles
is more user-friendly.
Participants can now add company
profiles from Xing and LinkedIn to their Virtual Venue profile.
Previously, these were not supported.
The event program can now be
added directly to the Virtual Venue backend without using the Converia Conference
Planner. Importing from the Conference Planner is still supported.
The merging of people in Converia is
now handled automatically during the synchronization with the Virtual Venue.
This eliminates the need to rely our support team to remove duplications (This feature requires an
update to Converia 8.1).
A list of sponsor logos can now be
placed on the home page to increase the visibility of sponsors in addition to
the single banners in the tile display. This feature can be set and modified
independently in the backend.
In sessions and talks, we have
optimized the display for long content, such as abstracts, so that the
interaction options are not lost from view as a result.
People who once had access to the event
but subsequently had their access revoked, can now be mapped in the Virtual
Venue. In this case, these persons will no longer appear in the list of active
participants, but will continue to be marked where they have interacted (e.g.
questions asked, chats) and their contribution will remain visible.
