Enabling Connections via Corporate Networks and VPN

When trying to access the Virtual Venue via a corporate network that uses very restrictive settings, problems have been known to occur due to network traffic filters. Users are then unable to log into the Virtual Venue and will receive an error message indicating that the login failed.


 

There are 2 ways to solve this problem:

  1. Switching to another, less restrictive network or deactivating VPN
  2. The IT in charge of the network needs to change the HTTP proxy settings so that *.virtual-venue.io requests will not be blocked or filtered and the HTTP headers will remain unchanged. The application will treat a denied request (e.g. with a 401 proxy error) as an invalid login attempt.
