Audio Issues When Playing Live Stream or VOD Content

There is no sound

If you enter a session with an active live stream, audio is disabled by default and needs to be turned on manually in the player window.
This setting is determined by the browsers and cannot be bypassed. Generally, the browser will only allow autoplaying video content if the sound is muted.

The player controls will become visible when the mouse is moved over the player window. To turn on the sound, click the mute icon.

The sound is too low

If you experience problems with the volume, always check your operating system's settings. Usually there are separate volume controls for headphones, headsets and speakers. Often there are also (hidden) separate volume controls for individual applications. If the sound is too low for some participants, it's often due to one of these controls being turned down. Fig. 2 explains where Windows users can find these settings. If you're working with a Mac, you can find a detailed explanation here.
