Participant
- can view all sessions they’re authorized for, based on their event ticket, as soon as the session is set to 'active' or receive access no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of the session (Default setting)
- can view posters and listen to the audio commentary for each poster
- can meet and chat with other users of the platform in 1:1 BBB video meetings
- can send and receive private messages with other users
- can visit sponsor pages and access the content created and made available by the sponsors
Sponsor
- has all the privileges as participants
- will be marked as a Sponsor
Session chair
- has all the privileges as participants
- will be marked as a Session chair
- can enter BBB rooms belonging to their area of responsibility at any time (regardless of the session times) and has moderator rights by default (unlimited rights within the BBB room)
- can view session content belonging to their area of responsibility prior to the start of the session (e.g. live stream, VoDs, links to video conference tools such as Zoom, Webex, BBB)
- can set talks belonging to their sessions to active/inactive, see Running and Managing a Live Session
- can delete user messages in the session chat
- are not subject to any access restrictions affecting their own sessions
Speaker
- has all the privileges as participants
- will be marked as a Speaker
- can enter BBB rooms belonging to their area of responsibility at any time (regardless of the session times) and has moderator rights by default (unlimited rights within the BBB room)
- can view session content belonging to their area of responsibility prior to the start of the session (e.g. live stream, VoDs, links to video conference tools such as Zoom, Webex, BBB)
- can delete user messages in the session chat
- are not subject to any access restrictions concerning sessions in which own contributions take place
Organizer
- can view all talks and session content regardless of start and end times
- is not subject to any session access restrictions
- can enter BBB rooms with moderator rights (unlimited rights within the BBB room) and regardless of the scheduled session times
- can delete user messages in the session chat
- can set talks to active/inactive, see Running and Managing a Live Session
- will appear on the organizer contact page (optional)
- has got role Organizer within the person list/filter
- has access to the separate admin area of the Virtual Venue
Admin
- as all the privileges as organizers but will not appear publicly on the organizer page
