General Notes

Access the Virtual Venue's backend via [PROJECT]-server.virtual-venue.io/admin. Only organizers are able to access the backend. Enter the frontend user data; but first make sure that your booking includes the "Participation Organizer" booking option.

Always be careful when using the backend. Every change you make will directly affect the Virtual Venue; incorrect entries may have a negative impact on your conference's website. Therefore, changes are not recommended during an ongoing conference. In case of urgent matters, modifications should be made during breaks.

Please also note that we will most likely not be able to restore your data once you have deleted content. This particularly applies to the "JW Player ID" and "JW Player License Key" entries! Any changes made to these entries can make videos or streams on your site inaccessible or will cause them to be incorrectly assigned. Feel free to contact us in case of any doubt.

Whenever you apply changes, we recommend immediately checking their effects by accessing the Virtual Venue. Refresh the page; you may have to clear your cache to see the changes applied.

Backend Setup Options

Some of the Virtual Venue's data will be pulled from the Converia registration system and synchronized either manually or automatically. This includes content such as the schedule, participants, and posters. However, you can set up most of the additional content in the backend independently.
